MirvoLegal (“we”) decides why and how personal data collected through this website is used. In the language of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”), we are the data fiduciary. What we collect
When you use one of our two forms, you give us your name, email address and telephone number, and, on the case brief form, your organisation, role, country of registration, the practice area, the names of adverse parties, a short summary of the matter and any urgency or limitation date. The forms do not accept attachments.
Our web server records technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, for security and to keep the site running. We do not run advertising trackers.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and to arrange a consultation or call.
- To check for conflicts of interest, using the names of the parties you give us.
- To keep the website secure and working.
- To meet legal and professional duties once you have engaged us.
We rely on your consent when you submit a form (DPDP Act section 6; GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), and, once you engage us, on the need to carry out that engagement and to meet legal duties. You can withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect what we did before it.
How long we keep it
Form entries are deleted from the website 30 days after they arrive. We keep the enquiry email only as long as needed to answer you and, if we do not act for you, we delete it within 30 days after the enquiry closes. If you engage us, we keep the records that professional and legal rules require us to keep.
Who receives it
Only the advocates and staff who need it. We use service providers to run the website and our email (hosting and email delivery), and video call services for meetings. If you are outside India and we send you an invoice, the payment is made through PayPal after we agree the engagement in writing. This website does not take payments. We do not sell personal data.
Transfers outside India
Some providers process data on servers outside India. The DPDP Act allows this except to countries the Government of India restricts by notification. Where GDPR applies, we use recognised transfer safeguards where they are needed.

Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you may ask for a summary of your personal data and how it is used, ask us to correct or erase it, use our grievance process, and nominate a person to exercise your rights if you die or cannot act. Where GDPR applies, you also have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to complain to your supervisory authority.
To use a right, write to info@mirvolegal.com. We aim to reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India once its process is available to you.
Children
This website is for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data of anyone under 18.
Changes
We will update this page if our practices change and show the date of the change here.
